Infants and Toddlers                          

The nursery has been redone, stop by and take a look at the Polka Tots room!  We will be holding a ‘shower’ for the nursery in March.  We want to make sure our children have safe, sturdy, age-appropriate toys and learning materials, so be on the lookout for a wish list and date.

Our current Sunday school rotation is “Resurrection Revealed!”  which begins February 21  and is focused on Lent.  If you are interested in teaching or helping with Sunday school, please contact Laura Willoughby.                             
 

Children's Church will reflect the theme in Holyword Studios.

What is it?

HolyWord Studios is several things. It's our new Children's Ministries wing, an area dedicated to the nurture and Christian education of the children of St. Peter UMC. More importantly, it's the name for all of our Children's Ministries featuring creative work stations and exciting activities and a "rotational model" curriculum that helps children grow in their faith through intensive but inspiring Bible based lessons and projects.

How does it work?

The Rotation is based on a single 6-8 week theme, our first being "The Light is Coming," an advent study about preparing our hearts and lives for God's arrival. Each week, and on Wednesday nights, children move to a different learning center to explore another aspect of the current theme. Once they have been through all the centers, we begin a new rotation with a new theme and new activities.

When will it take place?

HolyWord Studios is in operation during the Sunday School hour (10:00 - 10:45), during Children's Church and on Wednesday nights (6:45 - 7:30). It is open to all children, ages 4 through 5th grade.
